For my self-portrait analysis, I will be analyzing my Informal Writing 9, which is an assignment that I had to submit to my professor, as well as a piece of my personal writing. One of the only personal writings I have is my keepsake journal. My keepsake journal is not a place where I express my emotions, but it is a book full of memories and adventures that I want to remember and keep near and dear to me.

 

I am 19 years old and I have been in school basically my whole life. Although I am just now introducing myself to proper formal writing, it is obvious to me that when I write for school or class it is different than when I write for myself.
